Hello !
It's me, Mariela.

Born in 1978 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Dominican mother and Chilean father.
Arrived in Belgium at the age of 3.

Bathed in art at a very young age, with a grandfather who was a painter - Ramon Vergara Grez.
My first attempts in photography? As I remember, I must have been 8 years old, and it was in argentic, a MINOLTA, quite complicated,
but already the desire to know more.
In the meantime I always have a camera in my hands, and step by step I buy an SLR, lenses and the cruel desire to go beyond my limits.


2012
The birth of my son Rafael.

2014
After a year of technical training and photographic identity, I started a complementary activity.
The beginning of a beautiful adventure, to get out of the everyday life to escape, to create.
I don't work more, I am reborn!

2020
Everything's flipping over.
I decide to go 100% freelance so I'll never let these moments of total fullfilment pass me by again.
